Holy Cow Burger Branding

Holy Cow is a conceptual burger and beer restaurant brand built around a playful name and a laid-back dining experience.
The goal was to develop a visual identity that felt fun, approachable, and affordable while standing out from more traditional restaurant branding. I wanted the brand to have personality without feeling overly complicated or polished.

I leaned into the playful nature of the name, using bold typography, illustrated elements, and a casual visual style to create a recognizable identity.
Rather than relying on a single logo, I developed supporting graphics and a repeating burger-inspired pattern to give the brand more flexibility across different applications.
The visual direction was designed to feel energetic and welcoming, reflecting a restaurant focused on fresh, straightforward food without unnecessary frills.
This was an independently developed conceptual branding project. I was responsible for establishing the creative direction, developing the logo and supporting graphics, and exploring how the identity could translate across different brand applications.
Without an external client or existing guidelines, I had the freedom to experiment with the brand's personality and create a cohesive visual system around the restaurant concept.

The completed concept includes a primary logo, supporting brand graphics, and a custom repeating pattern designed for use across merchandise, packaging, and promotional materials.
The project demonstrates my ability to take a simple business concept and develop a playful, adaptable identity that could extend beyond the logo into a broader brand experience.
